 Frequently Asked Questions

Whether you're wondering what to expect in a class, how to sign up, or how The Mom Method supports you and your little one, we’ve gathered the most common questions here to make things easy.

  • The Mom Method offers a truly unique experience for new moms. Our multi-week class series are organized by your baby’s birth month, bringing together moms who are experiencing the same stage of motherhood. Each newborn group typically includes babies born within about a month of each other.

Our classes are fun, supportive, and educational — helping you navigate the joys and challenges of early motherhood with confidence. You'll receive research-based information tailored to your baby’s age, all while building a strong bond with your little one and connecting with other moms.

We also bring in trusted community experts to share their knowledge, adding an extra layer of support and insight. At The Mom Method, we create a judgment-free space full of laughter, learning, and encouragement — helping you thrive during this special season.

  • Moms can sign up directly on our website. Since our classes tend to fill up fast, we encourage you to register early in your pregnancy to guarantee your spot. If you discover us after your baby arrives, don’t worry — we’ll do everything we can to find a place for you!

  • To ensure a spot, be sure to register while pregnant. We recommend at some point during your second trimester to guarantee yourself a spot. You will be grouped with other mom’s due around your same due date.

  • No worries! We will bump you into another series so you will be around a group of moms and babies all in the same stage!

  • We do not offer makeup classes, as each group forms a close-knit, supportive community, and we want to preserve the unique bond and confidentiality among participants. While missing a class is understandable, rest assured that all the class materials will be accessible, and our experts and instructors are happy to answer any questions you may have about that week’s topic.

  • Each week, classes will focus on a specific topic, feature an open discussion, offer Q&A opportunities, and include sweet hello and goodbye songs with your baby. You'll also receive research-based articles and helpful resources tied to that week’s theme. Along with your main group facilitator, a variety of experts—like sleep consultants, doctors, therapists, postpartum care providers, infant massage therapists, and more—will join the series to share their knowledge.

  • For moms returning to work, we always suggest signing up while you’re on maternity leave rather than waiting. If you're planning to go back to work, we recommend starting the class when your baby is still on the younger side so you can make the most of your time in the group. A lot of moms work out an arrangement with their employers to continue attending the rest of the series after returning to work, and we encourage you to do the same if you can!
